OPPORTUNITY
SCORCH partnered with Dos Lunas to develop a series of thematic programs to rollout within its national distribution network that would highlight the mixable quality of its Silver brand of tequila, conveying a clear message that DOS was the perfect tequila to make your favorite summer cocktails.
STRATEGIC APPROACH
SCORCH developed a strategy to highlight Dos Lunas cocktails that are traditionally made with vodka and have the brand as visible as possible in the messaging. With a summer-specific drink focus that is both appealing to existing consumers and an alluring point-of-difference to the vodka/mixed drink crowd, SCORCH positioned Dos Lunas as an exciting alternative for summer cocktails. We invited consumer’s to enjoy DOS with their favorite mixers and designed several campaigns that highlighted the mixology and visual impact of the Silver brand and bottle image.
RESULTS
SCORCH has been a valuable partner in developing retail point-of-sale programs, displays and brand positioning for the Dos Lunas brand. Sales and distribution are continuing to grow and expand. We developed a secure internal sales resource website to house all the programs and host unified sales support materials in one central location. Consumers are mixing Dos Lunas in their favorite cocktails and Dos Lunas is continuing to gain additional market share.
Creative strategy in liquor spirits requires a firm knowledge of the industry, consumer trends and the understanding of the target consumer’s purchasing behavior. We are well versed in working with liquor spirits companies to define their image in the marketplace.
